Terms of service

Your order is an offer to buy. It's accepted when we send your order confirmation and take payment. If an item turns out to be unavailable or is listed at an obviously incorrect price, we may cancel that part of the order and refund you in full.

Prices are shown in US dollars and include no hidden charges. Delivery and any applicable taxes are calculated at checkout. Payment is taken on our secure checkout, operated by Wix, using the payment methods shown there.

Delivery windows are estimates and not a guarantee. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. If a parcel is lost in transit we'll investigate with the carrier and replace or refund it where the carrier confirms the loss.

Returns and exchanges are governed by our returns policy, which forms part of these terms.

We describe every piece as accurately as we can, including fabric and measurements where available. Colours can look slightly different depending on your screen, and hand-made or naturally dyed items vary a little from piece to piece.

The Velvette name, logo, photography and written content on this site belong to us and may not be copied or reused commercially without written permission.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law. Beyond that, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for the goods in that order.

We may update these terms from time to time; the version published here at the time of your order applies. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.
